GTJ! Essentials is a straight forward training tool that will walk you, the job seeker, through the “Essential” job search process necessary for finding the job you want! It is not a book about job search. It is a vocational workbook that requires you to complete specific Activities throughout every step of the job search process. Written at a 6th grade reading level, Essentials can work for anyone looking for a job, including those just out of high school or college, laid off workers needing a new occupation/job, Special Ed students, those incarcerated, or teachers in social service programs who may need assistance in creating a full job search curriculum!
GTJ!’s curriculum has been used by schools, Special Ed, prisons, etc. and was deemed very effective, based on user feedback. Here is what one teacher said.
